IPC's Kris Moyer, a competition judge and onsite supervisor of the event, said this year's competition was different than in previous years. Each contestant was given a PCB IPC Design Competition 2024 Results design that came with its schematic and up-front engineering already completed: All they had to do was complete placing and routing in five hours or less on their free seats of Altium Designer software.
